Christmas Tree!

This year we decided to go chop down our own Christmas Tree. It was way fun hiking through the snow to try and find the perfect one!

This one was too small.

...but this one was just right.

After our search for the perfect tree, we tied it to the top of our litte black car and headed out of the mountain to bring it home. Due to severe slidage on the roof of the car, we were forced to toss the tree in a ditch on the side of the road. All in all we had a great experience and look forward to doing it next year :) Happy Holidays!

We found them!

Josh likes to go to work with his glasses on and switch to contacts sometime during the day. Yesterday that's exactly what he did, but when he came home his glasses were nowhere to be found! We looked EVERYWHERE and still could not find them. So, this morning we decided to drive to Macey's and see if they fell out of Josh's truck. We went to where he was parked before and this is what we saw.



That's what happens when you lose your glasses in Macey's parking lot.

Poor Josh. I guess it's time for some new glasses!

ETD: December 2010

We live in a married student ward, obviously, so people only stay for as long as they are attending school (or need more room). The bishop asked us when we first moved in what our estimated time of departure (ETD) was. We said Spring 2011 because that's when I would be graduating, but as of last week our new ETD is...... December 2010!!!

It's not that I don't love it here, but I feel like I have senioritis all over again. I just want to be done with school, homework, tests, and all that jazz. It could just be because we're nearing the end of a semester, but I really wanted to see if I could finish sooner in the long run. So, by dropping my minor and taking 2 classes this summer, I cut off a whole semester!!

Looks like I'll be needing this sooner than I thought :)

Giving in...

Well, I finally gave in and I am starting a blog! All my older sibs have blogs and I've been resisting the urge..... but it's my turn and I finally admitted to myself that I want to start blogging. It's actually really exciting to start on a project other than school. I've had fun catching up on the happenings in the lives of my family and friends through their blogs so I guess I owe everyone the same honor ;) Enjoy!
